The Christmas Sweater Picture
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
There was laughter and singing and running about.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

In the twinkling of an eye, Santa arrived,
And with a happy holler, he slid down the side.
He filled all the stockings with toys and with treats,
And left a special gift for each child to keep.
Little Johnny was so excited to wake,
And see what Santa had brought for his sake.
He jumped out of bed and ran to the tree,
And there it was—a Christmas sweater, for he!
The sweater was red and green and white,
With reindeer and snowmen, a merry sight.
Johnny put it on and looked in the glass,
He was the happiest boy, as he twirled and he passed.
He ran to the living room to show his new find,
To his parents and siblings, who were all so kind.
They laughed and they hugged him and said he looked great,
In his Christmas sweater, so festive and straight.
Johnny wore his sweater all day long,
As he played with his toys and sang Christmas songs.
He even wore it to bed, so he could dream,
Of sugarplums dancing and a Christmas so keen.
The Christmas sweater became Johnny's favorite thing,
He wore it every day, like a beloved king.
It brought him joy and warmth and cheer,
And made his Christmas merry, year after year.
So if you're looking for a book to read,
A story that's heartwarming and will fill your need,
Look no further than "The Christmas Sweater Picture,"
A tale that will make your heart flutter and your spirit flicker.
It's a story of giving, of love, and of cheer,
A story that will fill you with holiday cheer.
So curl up by the fire and let the story unfold,
As the magic of Christmas makes your heart unfold.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night,
May your Christmas be filled with love and light.
