In his new book, All the Seas of the World, marine biologist and author Sy Montgomery takes readers on an epic journey through these vast and mysterious waters. From the Arctic to the Antarctic, and from the Pacific to the Atlantic, Montgomery explores the unique ecosystems of each ocean and introduces us to the creatures that call them home.

Along the way, Montgomery delves into the history of human exploration of the oceans, from the early voyages of Christopher Columbus to the modern-day expeditions of Jacques Cousteau. He also examines the threats that face the oceans, from pollution to climate change, and offers solutions for how we can protect these precious waters.

All the Seas of the World is a beautifully written and deeply informative book that will appeal to anyone who loves the sea or is curious about our planet's most mysterious and majestic environment. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand the importance of the oceans and the threats that they face.
